Wisdom Teeth

Brett had his wisdom teeth extracted yesterday afternoon. He opted out of anethesia, so we got a great dentist from our ward to perform the surgery at his office. He was in and out really fast; no complications. That, however, became the least of my worries when it came time to take him home.
The nurse was so kind to wheel him out to the car. Brett tried to open the door for her (such a gentleman, as always) and nearly fell out of the wheelchair. The nurse and I couldn't stop laughing--poor Brett! The drugs they gave him made him so silly. The best part was when he said his face was as hard as a rock and then punched himself in the chin to prove it. He doesn't remember anything now. After giving him his prescription pain killers he slept most of it off.
Today he is himself again, thank goodness! I was afraid he'd get stuck that way.
So we're just going to take it easy for a few days. Lucky for us this weekend is stake conference, so we both won't have to teach our sunday school lessons.
