We had a mishap over New Years where Brett's glasses were broken by a little girl. We needed to get him some new glasses anyway so it was kind of a good time. He's still got a week before classes start to get used to the new lenses. He's had his old ones since before his mission, so these are a huge step up and all high-techy with the no-glare, no-scratch, no-crack guarantees and all.
Plus! the metal bridge is completely collapsible. It's like you can bend them in half like rubber. I almost screamed right there in the glasses department when the doctor demonstrated that to us. That's how his other ones got snapped in the first place.
